Digital terrestrial aerials for Freeview
For Orkney, digital terrestrial television signals are broadcast from the main transmitters at Keelylang Hill or Rumster Forest. We can provide aerials, passive splitters and active distribution amplifiers to suit your requirements. We stock Freeview recorders, as well as offering advice on the installation of IPTV from your broadband service provider.
Broadband
If your landline broadband speed is low, there are choices. Firstly, talk to your provider, there may be a fault in your home, or between your home and the exchange, which can often be fixed free of charge. If not, other options include satellite (up to 75Mbps), 4G broadband (we stock external antennas for BT and EE routers, which can help push speeds above 100Mbps depending upon location) or fixed wireless (through other local providers). Satellite dishes for Freesat and Sky
We offer three options of dish: a painted mesh dish guaranteed for 12 months; a galvanised dish guaranteed for 5 years;
and a glassfibre dish offering the most durable option for difficult environments. A galvanised wall bracket will not leave a rusty brown stain down your wall. We stock Freesat boxes: single input for viewing only; and dual input for viewing and recording.
WiFi and Ethernet
We can advise on solutions to WiFi problems in your home, and offer a range of equipment to keep you connected.
